Seminars "Nuclear potential of Kazakhstan" are organized by the Association" Nuclear society of Kazakhstan " annually for young specialists of nuclear enterprises. Each seminar is held on the basis of different enterprises of the nuclear industry.

Goals and objectives:

  • activation of creative activity and support of scientific and technical creativity of young scientists and specialists of nuclear enterprises;
  • promotion of professional growth of youth, development of youth scientific initiatives and consolidation of young scientists and specialists at nuclear enterprises of Kazakhstan;
  • representation, protection and realization of professional, intellectual, legal interests and rights of young scientists and specialists at nuclear enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The seminars discuss the problems of uranium mining industry; nuclear fuel production; nuclear energy; nuclear physics, radioecology, Geophysics; legal, macroeconomic and educational aspects in the nuclear industry.

The seminars are annually attended by representatives of nuclear organizations: Kazatomprom, UMP, NNC RK, IAE NNC RK, iyaf RK, IGI, Volgovgeologiya, IVT, uranium mines, as well as students of KazNU.Al-Farabi KazNU and KazNTU.Satpaeva and representatives of Irbe NNC RK.
