On the eve of the New Year holidays, a teleconference between the Information Centers for Atomic Technologies of two countries, the Republics of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, was held on the communication platform of the Youth Branch of the Association «Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan».
The topic of the meeting became the issues of sustainable development in our time. Eminent experts Zhantikin Timur Miftakhovich, General Director of Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants LLP and Kasym Tokhtakhunov, Head of the Department of Atomic Energy and Nuclear Technologies of the Uzatom Agency, spoke about the contribution of nuclear energy to the development of our countries.
This teleconference was held within the framework of the Science and Atom Festival in Tashkent. Law students from the College of the Eurasian Institute for the Humanities took part in the teleconference from our side.
