The NSK Young Department:
WE have already told you that we have taken up students of the translation direction – the relevance and demand for INDUSTRY SPECIALIZATION among our linguists is so hot and desirable!!
In any industry (especially in the ENERGY sector today) WE need not only scientists, engineers – WE NEED TRANSLATORS who can translate the conversation of colleagues from different countries, work with technical documentation, and sometimes understand the intricacies of important contracts.
As part of the spring AtomFEST’23 lectures and quizzes in English were held, and the course of this year’s meetings ended with the City Contest among teachers and students of the specialty “Translation Studies” of technical and professional organizations in Astana.
The jury consisted of:
- Davletbaeva Raushan Kazbekovna – Methodologist of the Technical and Vocational Education Department of the Municipal State-owned Enterprise “Center for Modernization of Education of Astana”;
- Baiturina Ulzhan Kabievna – Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of EAGI;
- Nadim Karlygash Askhatovna – Director of “Eager Beaver” training center;
- Aliyev Seit Abeukhanovich – Director of ICAT under the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan, Master of Informatics;
- Zadorozhnaya Ludmila Aleksandrovna – teacher of the Department of Philology, Head of the Educational Work Sector of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Kazakhstan branch.
evaluated the video lessons “LinguaPro” by teachers and the intellectual game “The way to language” for students from different colleges of the city:
