Association "Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan" (NAC) became a member of the International Nuclear Societies Council (INSC) - the International Council of Nuclear Societies.

This significant event opens a new stage in the development of international cooperation of the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan and strengthens the representation of Kazakhstan in the international professional nuclear community.
The decision to accept the NAC into the INSC was made following the presentation of the Association's activities at the 70th IAEA General Conference, during which the main directions of the NAC's work, international initiatives, as well as opportunities for further professional interaction and cooperation were presented.
Established in 1993, the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan today unites more than 30 enterprises and organizations representing the nuclear industry and the scientific sector of Kazakhstan. The main activities of the Association are aimed at the development of nuclear science and industry, the dissemination of knowledge about the peaceful use of nuclear energy, vocational education and training, work with young people and the development of international cooperation.
Membership in INSC will allow the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan to expand international professional ties, intensify the exchange of knowledge and experience, participate in international initiatives and joint projects, and also represent Kazakhstan at the site of the international community of national nuclear societies.
Joining INSC was an important step in the implementation of the strategic task of the NAC to integrate the Kazakhstani nuclear community into the international professional space.
