According to the Agreement on cooperation between the Republican State Enterprise “Institute of Nuclear Physics” and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) within the Human Resources Development in the field of “Nuclear Energy and Radiation” the specialists of RSE INP and the Chemical Department of Al-Farabi KazNU conduct the annual training courses for qualification excelling within the instructor’s training course “Environmental Radioactivity Monitoring course (Environment Monitoring)” since 2012. This time, the regular instructors training course was held from 22 to 25 August 2016 in the RSE INP and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The course is attended by 11 employees of RSE INP, 8 employees of Al-Farabi KazNU and one engineer-technologist of JSC “NAK “Kazatomprom” LLP “Karatau”.
The practical exercises with participation of the course coordinators from the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) Masanao NAKANO (General Manager), Nobuo SHINOHARA (Instructor), Hiroya YOKOYAMA (Engineer) took place in RSE INP on the 24th of August, 2016.
The practical exercises for the courses participants on the methods of environment objects sampling have been provided by the specialists of RSE INP Levashov M.A. and Artyomova V.A.
The exercises on analytical laboratory study of the collected samples have been carried out at the Laboratory of Low-background Measurements in RSE INP by the young specialists Harkin P.V., Edomskaya M.A., Baygurzhin A.K.
After completion of the course the participants will receive a certificate in the specialty “Radiation monitoring of the environment”.
