JSC "NAC" Kazatomprom" and RSE" National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan" signed an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation to develop the country's nuclear energy and nuclear technologies.
The document was signed by chairman of the National Atomic Company Askar Zhumagaliyev and Director General of NNC Erlan Batyrbekov.
Under the Agreement, the parties plan to cooperate on the development of the legal framework of the nuclear industry and research in the field of nuclear science and technology, non-proliferation of nuclear and radioactive materials, ensuring radiation safety.
Also, the document provides training, exchange of information, development of new experimental units, conduct and implementation of joint research programs, the introduction of new innovative technologies in the field of nuclear fuel cycle.
