Most athletic employees of the national companies were identified in Astana last weekend. On September 19-20, 2015 III Spartakiad of “Samruk-Kazyna” group of companies took place in the capital.
72 medals events were held in 5 sports including mini-football, volleyball, arm-wrestling, table tennis and chess. 287 employees from 19 companies competed for the champion’s title.
Honorary guests of Spartakiad 2015 were Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Muhamediuly, Olympic box champion, general manager of the club «Astana Arlans» Serik Sapiev, players of FC «Astana», cycling team “AstanaProTeam”, the wrestler of «Kazakhstan Barysy» Beibit Ystybaev, silver medalist of Asian Para Games in wheelchair dance Ardak Otarbayev, youngest grandmaster Zhansaya Abdumalik.
“Popularization of sports, in fact, is investment in the health of our nation. We also do not want to stand on sidelines as it is better if we show to the younger generation what is the healthy way of life,” Chief Director of Public Relations of “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC Darkhan Kaletayev told at the opening of the Spartakiad.
To date “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC finances National Olympic, Paralympic committees, National sports association, “Kazakhstan barysy” tournament as well as number of sport federations. Presidential Professional club “Astana” was created to bring together the best clubs of the country.
