Visit of the U.S. delegation headed with the representative of the US Congress Jonathan Epstein in RSE INP

Visit of RSE INP by the delegation from the United States, headed by the representative of the United States Congress Jonathan Epstein, accompanied by the employees of the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan took place on the 2nd of August, 2016. The aim of the visit was to review the activities in the framework of bilateral cooperation and to discuss further cooperation in the field of nuclear safety. The members of the US delegation visited the research reactor WWR-K, the point of radioactive waste disposal, the storage of ionizing radiation sources and the construction site of the Nuclear Security Training Center.
