On December 10th, 2021 the 17th youth seminar "Nuclear Potential of Kazakhstan" was held, which was attended by young specialists of nuclear enterprises of the Kazakhstan. The work of the seminar began with a welcoming speech by Seifullina Togzhan Amangeldiyevna, Director of the Association "Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan", who wished all participants productive work and quality discussion of issues in various sections of the seminar.

  1. section "Development of uranium mining industry";
  2. section "Problems of nuclear energy and nuclear physics";
  3. section "Issues of radioecology, geophysics";
  4. section "Modern nuclear physics".

Due to the online form of the seminar, international experts took part in the work of the seminar:

  • Irina Alexandrovna Kupriyanova, system analyst in the area of accounting, control and physical protection of nuclear materials, Nuclear Society of Russia - master class "Experience in using case technologies to assess nuclear potential preparedness"
  • Vera Viktorovna Verkhoturova, Deputy Director - Head of international nuclear educational programs of Nuclear Engineering School of Tomsk Polytechnic University: "Cooperation between universities and the nuclear industry in the field of human resource development (on the example of TPU experience)".
