Togzhan Seifullina, Director of the “Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan” Association, doing a great work to involve schoolgirls and female students in STEM education and self-development programs, during GIC 2022 spoke not so much about this as about the problems of women - leadership and career prospects in general:
«Women's leadership for me, first of all, means constant work on oneself. Because I believe that a leader, whether being a man or a woman, is the person the majority looks at. A person can be a great professional in his field, be very knowledgeable, but if one does not have certain personal qualities, unfortunately, one will not become a leader. From my own personal experience, I'm constantly working on myself, because I'm the head of an organization which is engaged in public work. So the opinion of us is shaped by how and with whom we do our work. So I think that working on yourself in order to improve as a person should be if not the primary task, then at least a very important one for a head».
