On September 5, 2023 on the basis of the Kazakhstan-American Free University in Ust-Kamenogorsk (East Kazakhstan region) an international round-table discussion “The role of International Cooperation in the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan Association (NSK) was held.
It was attended by representatives of enterprises belonging to the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan, such as NAC Kazatomprom JSC, RSE National Nuclear Center, Institute of Nuclear Physics, UMP JSC, Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Department of Nuclear Energy and Industry, as well as nuclear societies and organizations of a number of foreign countries - International Scientific and Technical Center (ISTC), Nuclear Society of Russia, Tomsk Polytechnic University and others. In addition, Akims of East Kazakhstan region and Ust-Kamenogorsk city, rectors of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University and S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University and related enterprises came to congratulate the Association.
As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Association, there were also meetings of the veteran and youth departments with students of the city, a rally in memory of E.P. Slavsky, technical tours to UMP JSC", ULBA-TVS LLP and a festive concert for employees of the Ulba Metallurgical Plant, in which in addition to the city’s collectives, the following guests took part:
- Svetlana Krinitskaya – the owner of a delicate, mesmerizing soprano, a magnificent actress of the Moscow Operetta Theater.
- Ivan Dyatlov – a Russian and Belarusian singer, theater and film actor, voice actor. He is the winner of the main vocal show of Belarus “Factor”.
- Diana Savelieva – a performer of gypsy romances, an artist of the Moscow Concert.
- Vasily Ovsyannikov – People’s Artist of the Russian Federation. He is a Professor of the Department of Solo Folk Singing at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts.
The Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan Association continues to work successfully, in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Charter, both for industry specialists and for all interested persons and organizations, at the Kazakhstani and international levels.
Colleagues from the nuclear industry congratulate the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan on its 30th anniversary, noting the high level of its work, and wish the entire staff of the Nuclear Society further realization of scientific and creative potential, new interesting ideas, professional achievements, implementation of all conceived plans and projects, health, well-being and happiness.
