On March 26, in Almaty, the Organization of Veterans of Nuclear Science, Energy and Industry at the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan (VNSEI RK) and the Interregional Public Movement of Veterans of Nuclear Energy and Industry (IPMV NEI) signed an agreement on mutual understanding and cooperation.
The purpose of the cooperation is:
- large-scale explanatory work among the population on the acceptability of the development of atomic science and technology and analysis of emerging problematic issues;
- assistance in attracting veterans to participate in the transfer of nuclear knowledge and experience to the younger generation;
- exchange of work experience between veteran organizations of nuclear scientists of the two countries.
