At the meeting, issues of further cooperation with the corporation and implementation of joint projects in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy, uranium mining and enrichment, wind power, upgrading the technical base of the nuclear industry and the production of various innovative products were discussed.
At present, Kazatomprom and Rosatom State Corporation cooperate as part of the Comprehensive Program of Russian-Kazakhstan cooperation for peaceful use of atomic energy. In addition, cooperation with Rosatom is carried out within the framework of joint measures for loading JSC Ulba Metallurgical Plant and in the construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan.
