On June 27th, the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan took part in the open online workshop “Current Trends in the Environmental Agenda by State, Business, and People”, organized by the Russian branch of the international organization Women of the Nuclear Industry (WiN Russia).
Opening the seminar, Alena Yakovleva, head of WiN Russia, noted:
Today in the world there has been a positive trend towards a conscious attitude to nature and the ecological way of life. Much work is being done at the legislative level, new technologies are being created that have the least impact on the environment. Almost every enterprise now does not do without an environmental specialist. In the digitalization era, environmental knowledge and IT development is integrated into unified solutions to optimize and accelerate the processes of obtaining more reliable data for monitoring and monitoring environmental quality and simplify the processing of results.
In live chat mode, the special guest of the workshop, Sukhanos Olesya, Executive Director of NP “Professional Ecological Organization“ June 5 ”, shared with the participants about the possibility of a modern specialist to apply the knowledge, competencies in the field of ecology, learn new skills in technology and digitalization and introduce a digital environmental monitoring platform.
