Kazatomprom and KNRTU signed Agreement on cooperation in science and technology

NAC Kazatomprom JSC and Kazakh National Research Technical University after K.I. Satpayev executed the Agreement on cooperation in basic and applied research in the field of nuclear and alternative energy and personnel training.

The document was signed by Kazatomprom’s CEO Askar Zhumagaliyev and University’s principal Iskander Beisembetov.

Research and developments in the field of uranium and rare earth metals mining undertaken under this Agreement will contribute much to improvement of exploration and mining works, metrological support, radiation and environmental safety, NFC, new technologies commercialization.

Summarizing the results of the meeting, Askar Zhumagaliyev noted that technical skills would be always in-demand in the company, especially in mining sector, geology and exploration of mineral resources deposits, and NFC. The head of the company noted that qualified personnel will always have best working conditions at Kazatomprom.
