The mock-up of the building of the LEU IAEA Bank of the IAEA as a gift of Kazakhstan was established in the Vienna branch of the United Nations

On June 19, 2018 in the UN Vienna Office with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC “Kazatomprom” JSC, “the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Vienna” and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) officially installed the mock-up of the building of the Bank of Low Enriched Uranium (BLEU) Kazakhstan for the purpose of exhibiting for public viewing.

Earlier, on September 19, 2017 in Vienna during an event dedicated to the opening ceremony of the IAEA BLEU in Kazakhstan, The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbaev handed over to the Director General of the Agency Yukiya Amano the layout of the building of BLEU, manufactured with the help of “Ulba Metallurgical Plant” JSC, as a gift from our country.
