«Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan» deeply grieves over the death of a scientist, honored power engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Bolotov Albert Vasilevich, who died last Sunday, at January 24th, 2021, at the age of 87, after a long illness.
This is an irreparable loss for the entire scientific and engineering community of Kazakhstan. Bolotov Albert Vasilevich was an outstanding power engineer, brilliant scientist, inventor, who made, among other things, an invaluable contribution to the development of the world alternative energy. There is no doubt that many of his developments will be implemented in our country and in others all over the world.
All his working activity was associated with the energy industry.
Author of over 400 scientific articles and 106 copyright certificates for inventions.
Academician of the International Engineering Academy and the National Engineering Academy of Kazakhstan (NEA RK), member of the Supreme Council under the Presidium of the NEA RK, first rector of the Almaty Energy Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. In the last years of his life, Albert Vasilevich worked as the head of the Alternative Energy Laboratory at the IHT of JSC «Kazatomprom».
On this mourning day, we give our sincere condolences to the family and friends, to all those who knew, loved and respected Albert Vasilevich. The bright memory of him will forever remain in our hearts, and his name will remain in the history of our country development.
We have lost a true friend, associate and like-minded person.
