Seminar «Nuclear responsibility, cooperation, and peaceful atom»

The Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan participated in the seminar "Nuclear responsibility, cooperation and peaceful Atom" organized by the youth branch of the Russian Pugwash Committee at the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences on April 23, 2021.

The speakers at the seminar were:

• Alexander Samuilovich Ginzburg, Doctor of Ph.-Math. Sciences, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Pugwash Committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Mathematical Ecology and Chief Researcher at the Obukhov Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences, General Director of the non-profit foundation "Development and the environment;
• Timur Miftakhovich Zhantikin, Candidate of Ph.-Math. Sciences, member of the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan, member of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan, General Director of company “Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants”;
• Victor Mikhailovich Murogov, Doctor of Tech.Sciences, Deputy Director General of the UN International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) (1996-2004), Chairman of the International Union of Veterans of Nuclear Power and Industry, Professor of the Department of General and Special Physics at OINPE NRNU MEPhI.
